1. I passed the School Final Examination of the Board of Secondary Education, West Bengal,
    from Hare school, Kolkata in First Division, in the year 1958.

2. I passed the Intermediate Science ( l. Sc.) Examination of  Kolkata University, from St.
    Xavier's College, Kolkata, in First Division, in the year 1960, with Physics, Chemistry and     Mathematics as the Science subjects.

3. After competing in the Joint Entrance Tests, I was selected for admission in Indian Institute     of Technology, Kharagpur in Civil Engineering, in the same year of 1960.

4. I passed out of I.I.T. Kharagpur with B.Tech (Hons) Degree in Civil Engineering in February,     1964.
